Meet Dana Stroud

(they/them)
Marriage and Family Therapist Associate

Dana (they/them) brings a rare combination of scientific precision and heartfelt relational insight to their clinical work at Kelle DeBruin Counseling. Holding dual Master of Science degrees and a certificate in EMDR for Trauma, Dana first explored the world through the lens of biology before turning toward the healing power of human connection. Drawn to systemic change and the belief that our environments profoundly shape our mental health, they became a Marriage and Family Therapist to help clients not only understand themselves, but reclaim agency in shaping the world around them.

Dana integrates evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman Method, and narrative therapy to support diverse clients. Dana loves to support the LGBTQ+ community, polyamorous folks, the neurodivergent and complex trauma niches, as well as spoonies who deal with chronic-pain. Whether unpacking trauma or fostering growth, Dana is prepared to walk alongside clients with deep respect, cultural humility, and an unwavering belief in their capacity to heal.
