Meet Rachel Hasse
Professional Counselor Associate
Rachel understands the importance of finding a therapist who is a good fit. By developing a strong therapeutic relationship, she helps clients increase their self-awareness, explore their life circumstances and develop sustainable, health skills to achieve the desired changes in their lives.
Rachel has experience working with teens and adults struggling with anxiety, life/career transitions, trauma responses, negative self-esteem, and relationship concerns.
Her collaborative approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solutions-focused therapy. She is also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD.
Rachel shows up with a compassionate, direct style and enjoys incorporating humor into counseling when appropriate. She also encourages and welcomes feedback throughout the counseling process.
Prior to earning her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from University of Western States, Rachel enjoyed a career in education and offers a unique skillset in helping clients navigate complex academic environments. She has a bachelor’s degree in English Education from Miami University.
