Meet Jocelyn Dallis
(she/her)
Professional Counselor Intern
Jocelyn is a counseling intern currently pursuing her graduate degree in Clinical Counseling at Adams State University. Originally from Los Angeles, she relocated to the Pacific Northwest to embrace a more fulfilling life and deepen her journey in mental health care. Outside the counseling room, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Nancy, and values the lessons of connection and compassion that animals inspire.
In her clinical work, Jocelyn integrates feminist and queer theory with a person-centered approach, honoring each client’s lived experiences while acknowledging the larger systems and identities that shape their lives. She believes that empathy and presence are at the heart of meaningful therapeutic relationships, creating a space where healing and personal growth can flourish.
Jocelyn’s goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for clients to explore their identities, navigate challenges, and work toward the lives they envision. She is passionate about accompanying clients on their journey with curiosity, care, and gratitude, viewing it as a privilege to be part of each individual’s story.
