Meet Leah Dowling

(she/her)
Professional Counselor Intern

Leah is a therapist who works with adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity concerns. She understands how vulnerable it can feel to begin therapy and is committed to creating a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive space where clients feel safe, respected, and truly heard. Leah approaches therapy as a collaborative partnership, helping clients explore their experiences, reconnect with their intuition, and move out of survival mode toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.

With over 20 years of experience as a realtor and business owner, Leah brings a deep understanding of stress, uncertainty, and major life transitions. Supporting individuals and families through emotionally charged decisions shaped her calm, grounded presence and strengthened her ability to help clients regulate emotions, build resilience, and navigate change with greater self-trust.

Leah’s clinical work is informed by attachment-based therapysolution-focused approaches, and a relational, systems-oriented lens. She is especially attuned to concerns related to autonomy, boundaries, relational safety, and identity development, including the impact of complex family dynamics and high-control environments. Leah believes clients are doing the best they can with the tools they have, and that meaningful growth begins with increased awareness and new ways of relating to oneself and others.

Leah enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families who are seeking greater connection, emotional well-being, and a more authentic way of living. She values ongoing learning and views personal growth as a lifelong process. Outside of therapy, Leah enjoys road-tripping with her partner and their two dachshunds, cooking and entertaining, reading, and exploring new places.
