Meet Monica Motsko
(she/her)
Professional Counselor Intern
Monica Motsko, M.Ed. (she/her) is a counseling intern who believes meaningful healing begins when clients feel safe, respected, and truly understood. She approaches her work with curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for each client’s unique life story, viewing clients as the experts of their own lives. Monica believes growth happens when people are supported in reconnecting with their inner wisdom, strengths, and values.
Monica brings over 20 years of experience in education to her clinical work. She holds a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has spent much of her career working closely with children, families, and educators. As a parent herself, she understands the joys and challenges of raising children and is passionate about supporting the entire family system.
Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Monica helps clients build self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience while gently exploring patterns that may no longer serve them. Whether working with individuals or families navigating life transitions, she strives to create a grounding, empowering, and culturally responsive space.
With a holistic perspective that honors the connection between mind and body, Monica meets clients where they are and walks alongside them with care and intention. She is committed to supporting clients as they move toward healing, balance, clarity, and emotional well-being.
